Karen is a trailblazer who knows what it’s like to be one of the only women in the room. Karen began her career as a management consultant and then was one of the first female investors in private equity almost 30 years ago primarily focused on middle market consumer, retail and media companies. She has been a corporate executive and a non profit leader serving on a variety of boards and leading organizations. She graduated from Wharton undergrad and Stanford Business School. 

 

​Karen is excited to be funding women entrepreneurs and is deeply committed to using her expertise to empower women and drive positive, meaningful change.

 

She enjoys hanging out with her husband, Jamie, and her two sons. You can often find her hiking along the beaches or in the mountains.
